The Charkop police on Sunday arrested a 54-year-old for allegedly molesting a 35-year-old woman who worked as a caretaker for his mother.

The accused, Rakesh Shah, hired the victim from a Borivli-based agency. The woman in her complaint has said that on Saturday night when she was asleep, Shah started touching her inappropriately. She woke up and pushed him away. When she narrated the incident to an agency executive, they lodged a complaint.

“A case has been registered under section 354 of IPC and the accused was arrested on Saturday,” said an officer from Charkop police station.
