After protests over the unavailability of Mumbai University’s Vice Chancellor, and Yuva Sena’s threat to put up posters reading 'Aapan yanna pahilat ka? (Have you seen this person?)', VC Sanjay Deshmukh has finally been found. A new chat show has been organised by the trust ‘V Citizens Action Network’ (VCAN), where Deshmukh will interact with the public through a live streaming network.

For the past three months, student unions have been trying to get an appointment with the VC regarding various issues, but to no avail. “There are many queries that students have. For example, marksheets have not been shown to the pupils, there are spelling mistakes in textbooks, and there is a lot of confusion over online admissions. This will be a good platform for us to question him,” said Sandeep Ohri, from the April Broadcasters Pvt Ltd, the team will live streaming the event.

The event will be hosted by Indrani Malkani and V Ranganath, former Chief Secretary of State. Students will be able to post their questions on Twitter through hashtag #togetherVCAN, via SMS on 9594880408 or a skype call to TogetherVCAN.
