After over a month of no leads and false leads, the Amboli police finally cracked the mysterious murder case of model Kritika Chaudhary, and turns out, it involved both drugs and money. The police also arrested two people, including a drug peddler who investigations revealed had allegedly killed the model over a Rs 6,000 dispute that Chaudhary owed him.
The arrested accused were identified as Shakil Khan, 33 and Basudas Das alias Badshah, 40, who were first spotted by the watchman of Chaudhary's housing society.

According to the police, the case was tough to crack, as there was no lead. The CCTV footage didn't help, scanning the call data records of the last year didn't help and even questioning over a 1,000 people didn't take them anywhere.
