A senior executive from a media house was stalked during her morning walk in Bandra West. The accused is reported to be a youth who followed her, first on foot and then on his vehicle.
The executive had gone for her regular morning walk at Carter Road when the young man started following her. He then turned on his phone's flashlight to waylay the victim. Her attempt to drive away in her vehicle also proved difficult as the accused started trailing her, on his own vehicle.
Commenting on her unfortunate experience, the media professional tweeted, ""He had been trailing me in the car with his phone flashlight on throughout. While I was typing a message, he brought his car right in front of me and stopped with a very defiant look." She added, "I did not know what his aim was."
According to a report in the Times of India, a police official was quoted as having commented on the case and stated, "The woman provided us with the registration number of the car. We contacted the RTO and got the address of the car owner. It was found that a student was at the wheel of the car that day. He is currently out of town and our team is keeping tabs on him. He will be held as soon as he re-enters the city."
