Mumbai: Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has invited bids to appoint design consultants for the Dahisar (East) to Andheri (East) Metro-7 corridor.
"MMRDA has floated tenders to appoint detail design consultants for the Dahisar (East) to Andheri (East) Metro-7 corridor," the Authority said in statement today.
The scope of the work of the consultant will be to oversee the depot design, proof-check designs for civil work and architectural finishing and station roofs including electrical and mechanical work among others.
MMRDA has already appointed Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) as interim consultants, which is helping it in appointing general consultants for the Rs 4,737 crore corridor.
It has invited bids from contractors to build the elevated Metro line and its 16 stations on a cash contract model in three packages, having set an ambitious deadline of 30 months to complete the construction.
