A motorbike caught fire at Ambedkar Nagar as soon as the biker switched on the ignition key, according to eye witnesses. The incident took place opposite Nike Factory outlet at Parel on Tuesday morning

Mumbai: A motorbike caught fire at Ambedkar Nagar, opposite Nike Factory outlet at Parel today morning.


A motorbike stationed outside the telephone exchange was in complete flames with huge smoke emanating from it.

As soon as the biker started the vehicle it caught fire. He fled the spot soon after, as told by the onlookers.

The incident occurred at around 11 am this morning and no casualties were reported.

The traffic came to a virtual stand-still in the busy morning office hours adding to the commuters woes.
