Mumbai police joins in Maharashtra government's tree plantation initiative with a lot of zeal across the city with cops at several police stations planting saplings
July 1st was celebrated across Mumbai as 'Tree Plantation Day.

The government of Maharashtra undertook an ambitious tree plantation inititative to ensure the green cover of the state grows. The state government decided to plant two crore trees on July 1 across Maharashtra.
Apart from goveernment officials and political leaders, even citizens and NGOs took part in today's plantation drive.
The Mumbai police also joined in with a lot of zeal across the city with cops at several police stations planting saplings.
The Mumbai police took to Twitter to post pictures of the various tree plantation initiatives.
