The morning peak hours on the Harbour line went for a toss due to a rail fracture affecting trains bound towards Panvel and Andheri in the process.

According to Central Railway officials, rail fracture was reported at 8.54 am at KM 08/16 between Wadala Road and Sewri.


"Due to the rail fracture, three train services on Panvel, Andheri and Belapur route were delayed. However track has now been rectified and was declared safe at 9.32 am", said a CR official.

At present the train services are running late.
