The Mumbai police have stumbled upon a new modus operandi adopted by kidnappers, where children are whisked away to desolate destinations in North India.
Onkar was found at Mathura and was the custody of Inspector Kumar
This startling discovery was made when the Uttar Pradesh police, working in tandem with its counterparts in Mumbai, rescued four-year-old abductee Onkar Chorghadeu00a0 at Mathura, while he was being transported to Badhayu district in UP, after being abducted from Mumbai.

Onkar went missing from his Gokuldham residence, in Goregaon (East) under the jurisdiction of the Dindoshi police station, on Friday afternoon.
During investigations, it became clear that the sequence of events was all too familiar to that which had unfolded followed by kidnappers in the abduction of Karnit Shah (5) in April. In both cases, the kidnappers hailed from North India, and their motive behind kidnapping had been ransom.
Onkar was finally traced to Mathura station, with a PCO owner providing a crucial clue. The suspect was nabbed on the verge of boarding a bus, along with the victim. He has been identified as Khalid Parvez Agha Ali (20), a resident of Gama village in UP.
During interrogation, Ali revealed the events as they had transpired. After Ali alighted from the train at Mathura, he headed for a city bus stop near the railway station. At this point, Onkar started crying, asking to be reunited with his mother.

Ali, however, placated Onkar by saying that he would arrange for the boy to speak to his mother, taking him to a nearby PCO. Onkar's wails attracted the attention of the PCO operator, who alerted the police.
Ali further revealed that Onkar was abducted from Goregaon by his accomplice Santosh Adivasi.
Adivasi was planning to make the ransom calls from his Mumbai hideout, said Inspector Amit Kumar, attatched to the Mathura city police.
Onkar is presently under the care and protection of Inspector Kumar's family in Mathura city, who said, "The boy has been staying at my residence since yesterday, and is very happy."
Onkar went missing at 1 pm last Friday. He was abducted from the playground at his residence in Vasundra Enclave, Goregaon (East).
When Onkar did not return home, his parents approached the Dindoshi police. The Dindoshi police launched a massive manhunt on Saturday morning.
Onkar's parents are on their way to Mathura to escort their son back home.
Kumar added, "When the PCO owner called us, we tracked down Ali and questioned him. He confessed that the child with him had been kidnapped from Mumbai.
Yesterday, the family was informed that their son had been found."
