He had been in a sexual relationship with the girl for the past nine months, after promising to marry her. When the girl realised that Gajakosh had cheated on her, she filed a complaint at Vashi police station against the doctor for raping her.u00a0

Vashi police registered an offence against Gajakosh under Section 376 of the IPC. The case was redirected to Tilak Nagar police station, since the location of the offence was under their jurisdiction. “We arrested Gajakosh on Friday and produced him in court yesterday. We are inquiring further into the matter,” said PSI Patil of Tilak Nagar police.u00a0
