November 8: Actress Aarti Chhabria is harassed with lewd messages and calls on her mobile.
The common link in both these cases is that the caller identifies himself saying, 'My name is Khan'.
Police believe there is a strong possibility that the caller is Mehraj-ur-Rehman, Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanyata's ex-husband.
Similarity
"He is someone who makes such calls or sends these messages. He is out on bail, but is always a suspect.
The manner in which the actresses have been harassed is similar to what Mehraj had done to other stars earlier," said a police officer.
Mehraj's advocate Tasneem Khan said, "I am not in touch with him.
A warrant has been issued against him because he has not appeared in court despite repeated summons."
Assistant Commissioner of Police Dilip Suryavanshi said, "The investigations are on and we will arrest the culprit."
He refused to comment on whether Mehraj is a suspect and said, "We will arrest the right man."
