Murkier details are emerging following the arrest of the 25-year-old Chembur hotelier, who was nabbed for raping his ex-lover's 12-year-old sister and kidnapping her four-month-old nephew.

According to Nagpada police officials, Monu Sachdeva, the accused had a master plan to exact revenge and rape was only one part of his sinister plan. Cops found Rs 16,000, a chopper, a fake revolver and a nunchaku from his car. "During interrogation, Sachdeva revealed that he had planned on killing all of them. Furtheru00a0 investigations are on," said investigating official, SI Sanjay Kadam, Nagpada police station.

The incident
On Tuesday, the Nagpada police received a complaint from 21-year-old Roma (name changed) accusing Sachdeva of kidnapping her four-month-old son and 12-year-old sister. Acting on the complaint, Sachdeva was tracked via his phone records and arrested at Sanpada. They also found Roma's sister and nephew in a lodge.

Sachdev confessed that he wanted to exact revenge on Roma's elder sister, Himani (22, name changed), with whom he had an affair in the past. Himani used to stay in Chembur a few years ago. Her family used to order food from Sachdeva's hotel regularly. That's how they knew each other and the affair began.

Sinister plan
During interrogation, Sachdeva revealed that he wanted to kill Himani (22), her younger sister Roma (21), her 4-month-old nephew and the 12-yr-old minor, whom he had already raped in Sanpada.
