An accident on the arterial Eastern Freeway inconvenienced thousands of Mumbaikars as it affected traffic for about half-an-hour on Wednesday night.
The accident took place at around 9.30 and led to a traffic snarl till around 10 pm.
According to police officials, "The accident took place on the north-bound stretch of the freeway at 9.30 pm when a taxi rammed into the car ahead of it. No one was injured in the accident and at around 10 am the traffic was normal and moving."
Vehicles taking the Freeway from the Cotton Green side and was going towards Wadala and Chembur were badly affected.
