A week into placement season at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, over 1,000 job offers have been made, with over 250 companies—domestic as well as international—participating in the process. On Day 1 itself, there were approximately 350 offers and 278 students accepted offers. While Uber made the highest international offer with a $2.74 lakh per annum package, the next in line was by Rubrik with a $1.21 lakh per annum. Among domestic offers, Millennium has offered a Rs 62 lakh per annum package followed by WorldQuant with Rs 51.71 lakh per annum and Blackstone with Rs 46.62 lakh per annum.
