The Thane police have arrested two people for allegedly attempting to kill Sanjay Jadhav in Ambernath. The accused fired a round that missed and Jadhav was safe. The police said that Jadhav was not returning the loan he took from the accused dad. So in anger to take revenge the accused committed the crime and the three accused fled away from the scene on a motorcycle.

According to the police, Sanjay Jadhav is a resident of Ambernath West and gives auto-rickshaws for rent to drivers. Last week he was sitting at a tea stall. In an instant, he felt like someone had fired a round. But he was luckily not injured in the incident. After that Jadhav found a magazine with five bullets in it. "Jadhav then informed the police and gave them the magazine of bullets he found," said a police officer.

"The police started the investigation but they couldn't find any fired rounds from the spot as evidence. And police were doubtful were it was a firing case or if he heard some noise of crackers. But with a clue it was confirmed that on January 18 a round was fired on Jadhav," the police officer said.

The police during the investigation found a resident of Badlapur, Navin Chichi, had given money to Sanjay Jadhav as a loan. Jadhav was not returning the money so Navin's son Nishant (22) along with his friends Rahul Kudiya (24) and Ajay Chalvadi committed the crime. "The three came on a motorcycle and after firing a round they ran away from the spot," said Jaganath Kalaskar, senior police inspector, at Ambernath police station.

The police arrested Nishant Chichi and Rahul Kudiya and the other one was a minor boy who was sent to the observation room.
