The office of renowned Bollywood actor Anupam Kher was robbed on Wednesday night. The thieves managed to break the lock and fled with cash and goods valued at approximately Rs. 4.15 lakh, an official said.

According to the actor, "Two thieves were involved in the crime. They broke through two doors and stole a safe from the accounts department, which they could not open. They took the negatives of a film produced by the company, which were kept in a box."

Anupam Kher's office has filed a First Information Report (FIR), and the police have assured that the culprits will be apprehended soon.

The CCTV footage captured the thieves sitting in an auto-rickshaw with the stolen items, which should aid in their identification and capture.

Anupam Kher, in a social media post, expressed his hope for the swift capture of the thieves and remarked, "May God give them wisdom." The video evidence was recorded by Anupam Kher's office staff before the arrival of the police.
