Hours after registering an FIR in a connection with Bulli Bai app case where prominent muslim women were being “auctioned”, the Cyber Cell of Mumbai Crime Branch detained a 21-year-old engineer from Bengaluru on Monday evening. Cops suspect that the accused is the mastermind behind the Bulli Bai app. “The person has been detained for enquiry,” Mumbai Joint Commissioner (Crime) Milind Bharambe told mid-day. The police have, however, not revealed the identity of the 21-year-old as he has not been arrested in the case yet. He has been brought to Mumbai by cyber police for further interrogation.
