The 30-year-old woman has filed a case against Ashok Hasanand Lalchandani and his wife Monica under sections of The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, and other relevant sections of the IPC.

Sub-inspector Sukeshini Lokhande said, “The woman, who’s married, has been working in the company for a year. Ashok Lalchandani used to insist that she stay late in the office, and had also asked her out for dinner several times. Despite clear reluctance on part of the complainant, Lalchandani continued to make sexual advances.”

“The woman also complained about this to Monica, wife of Ashok Lalchandani. But Monica supported her husband, and instead asked the complainant to quit her job. Monica also threatened to beat up the victim and her husband,” said Lokhande.u00a0
