In what seems like a scene out of a movie, a 23-year-old man was arrested for stabbing and strangulating a man for not sharing his earphones.

The incident occurred in Wadala East on Sunday near a public toilet. The accused and the victim bumped into each other while they were heading towards a public toilet. The victim was listening to music on his phone when the accused asked to use his earphones, to which the victim refused as per reports by Hindustan Times.


As per a police officer, the accused returned after a few minutes and pounced on the victim from behind. He then gagged him and slashed his throat with a knife.

The victim was profusely bleeding and was rushed to Rajwadi Hospital at Ghatkopar. The accused tried to flee the crime scene but was nabbed by locals. He has now been arrested and charged with attempt to murder
