At least four people were killed after a gunman opened firing in southern California before killing himself.
A string of shootings after an apparent carjacking in southern California today left at least four people dead, including the suspected gunman, police said.

Two others were injured before the suspected gunman shot and killed himself, after officers found him in a stolen vehicle and pursued him into the city of Orange, California.
"At this stage we do have four dead including the gunman," Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino said, adding that the suspected gunman was a man in his 20s.
He said there were shootings at six locations, starting at around 5:20 am (local time). At least three of the shootings occurred near the 5 and 55 freeways.
Five people were shot in Tustin, about 35 miles southeast of Los Angeles, and two others were shot in nearby areas, said Tustin police department spokesman Paul Garaven. "There are multiple (crime) scenes throughout Tustin and the surrounding areas," Garven said.u00a0
