Impersonating as DDA officers, the accused lured the victims to pay them an initial amount of money for a promised allotment of flat in west Delhi's Paschim Vihar areas, said Ravinder Yadav, additional commissioner of police. According to the officer, Sharma was involved in at least 17 cases of cheating.
