This Chennai/Bengaluru singer, Ranjani Ramdoss aka RANJ, is somewhat of a wandering collaborator who has put out some of the more unique sounds this year. With a strong background in music, she has been able to traverse through genres extending her expertise with panache. Her latest collaboration with the talented producer Clifr explores this ability to mould her style with ease. This bilingual sensation with eclectic interests in neo-soul, funk, jazz, Carnatic, RnB and progressive music shows great promise.

Within Ceres


This Goa-based modern metal band is one to seek out. Any metalhead can see that their interest in the genre and their output has been pretty power-packed. A keen ear for epic riffs, solid drum runs and a structure for rhythm and hard-hitting sounds is a gift to the metalheads in India. The six-piece metal band has hit all the right notes with killer grooves and lots of shredding that makes for a heady Listening experience.
