Sign up for a conversation about the biodiversity of the wetlands in Maharashtra and the necessity to conserve the vast spaces. The event will have Stalin Dayanand, director, Vanashakti NGO as its chief guest. There are 25 seats and people can register on a first come, first serve basis.

A session will cover the various aspects of India’s wetland biodiversity with a focus on diversity parks. The event is being conducted in association with Delhi’s Yamuna Biodiversity Park. The attendees can take a tour of the wetlands to understand the need for conservation initiatives.

Colours of conservation

Here’s a birding and painting contest for kids to encourage conservation and help young minds understand the flora and fauna of wetlands. The activity will introduce them to the challenges of protecting wetland ecosystems.
