It has been agreed upon by experts that believing in the power of manifestation is helpful; but the notion comes with the addendum that one has to put in efforts along with positive thinking. Exploring a similar conversation, Sipping Thoughts and Women Listed — community of female professionals — is hosting an online discussion, Law of Attraction (LoA), with Meeta Gutgutia, founder, Women’s Listed and co-founder, Sipping Thoughts and Nita SundraRaju, manifestation coach and LoA teacher.

“The Law of Attraction works on the theory that like attracts like. We are all made of energies and vibrations that function at a certain frequency; and everything on that particular frequency will come together. This law ensures that we vibrate at a frequency to attract things that we want. The discussion will focus on this law, how it works and the myths surrounding it,” SundraRaju states.

While manifestation is important to achieve goals, according to SundraRaju, actions matter too. “In manifestation, rather than a positive attitude or thoughts, we should focus on positive feelings. There are times when thinking positively is difficult. But focussing on things that make us feel positive is more important. Combined with actions, you will be able to overcome the failings. Actions are the stem of the plant while our emotions are the root. If the root is not strong, the growth of our actions will be weak.”
Recalling her own experience of manifesting a dream, the manifestation coach reveals that she always wanted to coach successful people along with those seeking success. “I wanted to coach leaders into becoming compassionate figureheads. I got the opportunity to do so, because I focussed on it without doubting myself. I did have to act on it by actually going out and taking efforts. But I had the courage to act because I was very clear in my mind about my ability,” she signs off.
