The festive fervour has had the city held tight in its grip for the past two weeks. It will end on a celebratory note today, on the evening of Dussehra. But Mumbaikars don’t really sulk in longing. Rather, we look forward to every big and small opportunity of merry-making. And the upcoming vintage edition of the Bandra Flea Festival will be one of those uplifting chances.

A pop-up that’s open to members and non-members of the venue will follow an analogue format. “It’s all things vintage. Visitors will get a hint of old-school styles,” says Viraj P, event manager at the Bandra venue. While buyers will polish off tasty dishes at the flea, they can help support small local businesses, too, that will set up their stalls at the event. There will be live Bollywood music because the city can never have enough of it. “Visitors should find interesting wall arts, thrift items, candles and more,” he summarised.
