Bombay Bol: Brinda Miller explains

Brinda Miller

Jaare lay and Aare lay

This typical Mumbai slang for “going” and “coming”. I heard this for the first time over 30 years ago, when I met my husband who grew up in mohalla where it was commonly used. Brinda Miller is an artist and education consultant
