Harry Potter

Just for the special occasion, Jamjar Diner has rolled out its own special Harry Potter menu. Nevil Timbadia, co-founder of the restaurant has collaborated with chef Nicole Mody from Comida World especially for the occasion. With over a month of ideation, the duo and their team came up with 12 varieties of Potter-themed fare such as mandrake-themed dessert, whomping willow cheesecake, butterbeer tart, monster of books ice cream sandwich, pumpkin juice, butterbeer, love potion, and what not. When we ask what is the one thing patrons should look forward to, Mody says it’s every flavoured donuts dots inspired by the books’ Bertie Bott’s every flavour  jelly beans. “You might find yogurt, or even karela in the donuts. You will have to eat to find out,” Mody laughs.

Mash the pastries with a fork and add the breadcrumbs to it, mix well. This will give the crunchiness and balance sweetness to the snitch balls. Make medium-sized balls and refrigerate them for 20 minutes. Melt the chocolate on a double boiler, being careful not to burn it till it reaches a smooth consistency. Dip the refrigerated balls into the melted chocolate and immediately coat them with golden sprinklers.
