In January, it will be two years since Nafisa Kapadia opened up her kitchen and her house, so that people could taste her Bohri food. In this time, her smoked mutton samosas, slow-cooked raan and mutton and chicken biryanis became all the rage in the food circuit.

To celebrate the onset of their second anniversary, the mother-son duo behind The Bohri Kitchen (TBK) - Munaf and Nafisa, are coming out with a pop up. "I'm celebrating TBKs second anniversary by setting up a stall outside my friend Yohaan's restaurant, Kaboom, at Kamala Mills. If it's a success, we might do this on a regular basis," says Munaf.

The menu will be meat-heavy, of course. Look for freshly fried Smoked Mutton Kheema Samosas served with mint chutney and lime, Smoked Daal Samosas (for the vegetarians), Chicken Russian Cutlets and the piece de resistance - Mutton Khichda - slow-cooked for five hours and garnished with lime, caramelised onions and pudina. Chai lovers, there will be freshly-made hot chai available.
All you need to carry along is a good appetite.
