One can spot several migratory birds, ranging from the gray heron, white and red lapwing to the purple moorhen and the little egret. Besides, it is quite a delight to catch a glimpse of local birds like the house crow, coot, jungle babbler, white breasted kingfisher and open billed stork.
The lake was built around 1960 and is an ideal destination for a weekend trip at any time of the year.
However, the period from June to September is considered to be the best period to drop by here.
