Wanna look every bit like a Tru-Blu tourist? Maverick Inc.'s made-to-order travel luggage comes with tons of attitude and colour to make heads turn when you take off for your summer holiday

Flower child or jazz aficionado, you can wear your attitude on your travel bag.u00a0 Mumbai-based Maverick Inc has a collection of wacky and cool designs for your travel needs, no matter where you're headed. From cartoon trumpets to aeroplanes doodles to digital prints and Bollywood-inspired kitsch, you can have it all on your trolley or travel case.

The woman behind these mad ideas Priya Bohra, is all of 25 and barely six months into the business. It started off as a hobby. "I used to make gifts for my husband. And I'd do bizarre things like morph our pictures and put it in a Bollywood poster.

I figured out that I'm rather good with this, decided to do something about it. My sister-in-law Neelam Jain joined me and that's how Maverick Inc. began. Things came to a head when Sobo started stocking my products," she says.

As Sturdy As They Come

Most of Bohra's products are customised as per her clientele's needs and requirements. There are stock designs you can pick from or she customises the design, as per choice.

Most of the travel bags come in luxurious avatars; they are created from satin but are covered with PVC, to make them hardy.

"Unless I use patent leather or a strong tough material that can be cleaned by simply wiping it, I cover everything with PVC," she adds.

She customises any surface from clutches to small bags for toiletries, laptop bags to duffel bags, suitcases to trolley bags. Prices are her strength, she feels.

The range begins from about Rs 2,400 for a handy 20-inch travel bag while a 30-inch suitcase ranges from Rs 5,500 to Rs 7,000. Prices can increase depending on the choice of fabric and designs. "Digital prints cost more," she says.

But her USP is customising according to the clients demand. "I recently made trunks for a couple, one of whom was a fan of Salman Khan. It showed him as a caricature of Salman Khan proposing to her," she chuckles.

Be it caricatures of loved ones or rockets headed to the moon, this is surely one piece of luggage you won't have trouble spotting at the airport's conveyor belt.
