Valley of Flowers- Kaas Plateau
It’s that time of the year when the 1,000-hectare Kaas Plateau in Satara, Maharashtra, will see an exotic variety of wild flowers in full bloom. More than 850 species of flowering plants are found here. Trek to Ratangad
Mumbai Travellers has organised a trek to Ratangad, a hill fort near Ratan Wadi, overlooking one of the oldest artificial catchment areas. The fort is about 2,000 years old. Ratangad has a natural rock peak with a cavity in it at the top, which is called Nedhe or Eye of the Needle. The journey will start from CST towards Kasara by last local train by 00:10 am.
