Sandesh Motwani is aiming for the stars and we can't wait to see what's in store for us. Sandesh Motwani is an established singer-songwriter, music producer and filmmaker. The Dubai/Mumbai based Indian artist says his love for music and filmmaking is what made him choose the path he is on. "I was supposed to be an aerospace engineer but life had different plans for me.", says Sandesh.

Sandesh Motwani was first picked up by Sony Music when he was 19, which gave him his break with the song " Muskurane" from the movie "Citylights", where he was asked to make a rock version of the song. He was also featured in the music video as a singer and promising upcoming artist. Sony Music called him a "19-year-old Whizkid Arranger" who always had a fresh perspective with music and his sound. They went on to work on numerous projects with him including "Project Refresh" and extensive music production works for songs like, "Samjhawan Unplugged", "Khamoshiyan" and more.

Sandesh Motwani was then asked by Saregama HMV, the evergreen Record Label in India, to be on board as a project director to overlook the revamping of classic retro songs with a new perspective. Sandesh was always best known for his international sound and music production. Although since he was still studying at the time, he couldn't take up the entire project, instead decided to work as a music director for revamping four songs from the Saregama HMV's catalogue; "Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyaar Ke Charche", "Oh Haseena Zulfon Waali" featuring Sukriti Kakar & Prakriti Kakar, and "Kya Hua Tera Waada", "Khoya Khoya Chaand" as his solo singles. We're definitely excited and looking forward to hearing these retro classics with his modern and fresh perspective.

"I released a  mashup-cover on my YouTube channel to see what kind of reaction I was getting from the audience," says Sandesh. When the same mashup-cover for the movie "Tamasha" went viral on YouTube, music platforms and press, he received a call from T-Series, a leading record label globally, to have his mashup released on their channel as the "Official Tamasha Mashup". In Aprli 2017, when his first full fledged mashup-cover and collaboration with Dhvani Bhanushali on the song "Shape Of You / Gulabi Aankhein" hit 5 Million in just 5 days, Sandesh knew he has a great journey ahead of him and went on to render 70+ mashups and collaboration with collaborators from all over the world including popular mashups like "Zara Zara / Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua" & "Perfect / Lag Jaa Gale".

In 2020, the 26-year-old started building his legacy with original music and has already released 4 singles, all of which are doing spectacularly well on charts. We also hear he's doing a number of world projects, collaborations and a lot of music is already in the pipeline for release this year. A lovely journey it has been for Sandesh Motwani but, we're sure this is just the beginning of a beautiful future for this honest promising artist.
