Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it. This proves to become true for the entrepreneur and producer by profession, Karan Dope who is making waves in the Punjabi music industry.
Hailing from Punjab’s Mohali, the young entrepreneur Karan Dope has proved himself as a true example of a successful person. He started working in the Punjabi music industry in 2015 as a social media marketing head and made connections in the industry.
Notably, Dope started creating projects as an A&R and signing his own artists at the age of 19 years. The first album Karan did was ‘CON.FI.DEN.TIAL’ with none other than, actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh. Here, his responsibilities were shortlisting content, getting music done by a newcomer in the industry with zero sense of music, giving him and the lyricist a wholesome vibe, who came from a village Ramba with a good sense of music. Then, taking 9 shortlisted tracks to Diljit and making him spit bars on tracks was a dream come true.
While sharing his experience, producer Karan Dope said, “By getting the links and working closely with labels and artists to create a buzz and introducing was very first marketing techniques in the game.”
“I came from a background of a Computer Engineer, did my graduation in B-Tech from Rayat & Bahra, Kharar. My schooling was done from Saint Soldier International Convent School in Mohali. Being the single child of my parents, I'm the one of us all blessed with best parents with pure love,” shared Dope.
Dope is the owner of Drip Films India, a music video shoot venture that he started which is just 6 months old, where he formed a team of creative DOP's, directors, and showcased concepts to artists and boom.
Karan Dope is one of the prolific producers in the Punjabi music industry who has managed to gain a massive fan following with his produced stellar songs and albums.
