The philosophy that good things come to those who work hard and practice persistently drove actor Ankush Bhaskar to believe and work consistently on his craft.

Acting had piqued Ankush Bhaskar's interests ever since he was a young boy in school. The actor never sought to pursue the said interest and went on to explore his entrepreneurial journey until the opportunity of a collaborative modelling project in Mumbai fell into his lap. At first, reluctance kept him from doing the shoot but as fate would have it, he did do the project and that is where it all changed.

With ambition, passion for his craft and an eagerness to learn brought Ankush Bhaskar, who hails from Delhi to the city of dreams - Mumbai, where he lived with five flatmates and took up an acting course.

Ankush Bhaskar's acting career began with a series of fortunate auditions through which he bagged a couple of projects. The first project that he bagged was & tv’s Badho Bahu' which opened a new door of opportunities for him. The hunger to grow and be better with every project was what drove Ankush Bhaskar to do better projects. He went on to work on Brand Ads, Cuffed - a short film on MX Player and the web series - Twisted 2. Not being an extremely social personality, the determined need to not be stagnant and grow through selective projects did cause an unfavourable spell. During which, he took up theatre projects. However, the belief in his work and talent paired with his faith in himself helped get through every hardship.

The hunger and drive most certainly came through with the opportunity of playing a primary character in Colors Tv’s Pinjara Khoobsurati Ka, where he plays the role of Mayura's (played by Riya Sharma) elder brother Sachin Goswami. Ankush Bhaskar plays a grey character and sees this role as an opportunity to add more feathers to his cap and enhance his skills and art. He believes in constantly developing and growing as an actor through characters like these for he truly believes that learning never stops.

Ankush Bhaskar is up for every challenge that life throws at him because he believes in hard work, talent and persistence. A humble talent to watch out for, Ankush Bhaskar hopes to keep working on his craft and is eager to see how this journey unfolds.
