She says it pains her to see when kids are begging on the streets and young girls are begging with an infant in their arms. It is a plightful view to watch such grieving people. No one deserves this kind of pity, she says. She considers it to be her moral duty to do the good for the underprivileged. " I am lucky that I can afford to survive in this calamity, but what about those who live their life on daily wages, shouldn't people like us care for them. I can't turn a blind eye toward the needy", Says Rimi.
She has performed in several music albums and movies. Her movies are out of the box and trendsetting on the OTT platform. Her famous albums are Jidda, Hey Daddy, Chitta parade in the last few years. Her movie Jagga which was released on Hungama Play was a blockbuster lately. She plans to share her 30% of the income in charity each month, not just during the pandemic but continually ahead for the old ages homes, orphanages, and for the homeless. She does not want to stay only a reel-life model but wants to be a trendsetter in social welfare by giving, sharing, and caring for the downtrodden so that there are many others who get encouragement to develop a better world.
