He was born and brought up in Calcutta and after his schooling, he did some events with top DJs, some popular music producers, including Nucleya. Entrepreneur Junaid Khan is a car enthusiast who loves driving and testing out new cars as soon as they are launched in the market. He is an entrepreneur who owns a showroom that provides pre-owned luxury, and imported cars and bikes in India. He started ‘Automate’ with a 100 square-foot office in Kolkata on 1st August 2016. Now, with his hard work and dedication towards the venture, it is expanding to a 12,000 square feet showroom (which will be the biggest showroom in India) in Alipore, Kolkata. They have an office in Mumbai too and are coming up with a new showroom which would be one of the biggest ones in India. Junaid Khan aspires to be among the India’s top 5 with this pipeline and will hopefully achieve that soon. He also owns a real estate company named ‘Automate Living’ as a side business.

He started this venture with just a Hyundai i10 and now he has a Lamborghini and Bentley in his showroom. He was 21 at the time when he started this and initially, his father was not that supportive but currently he is proud of Junaid and the kind of work he does. He was always passionate about cars and used to take his car for a ride on Sundays and that is when he realized that people spend so much on their cars and their accessories and drive for a while, then again change them. Also, as he did a few modifications to his car as well, Junaid Khan was able to sell his car at a higher price than expected.

Entrepreneur Junaid Khan says his main USP is bringing the cars to Kolkata and put some limelight on the city as well. Also, he says a lot of people get confused if their cars broke down in what to do next. So, his company has 24-hour assistance and provides a warranty of 120 days. If anything happens to the car, Automate will replace the car or refund the whole amount. When asked about his personal favorite, he did not hesitate to say that it was the Jaguar – F type.

Junaid Khan shares some thoughts that before the pandemic, people did not hesitate to buy cars, they bought both second-hand and new ones. But, after this pandemic, buying cars is not at all feasible in the current scenario. This is where the company comes into the picture where it provides cars as they are new. The cars have their accessories, tissue boxes, etc. Also, he says if someone wants to get their cars wrapped, the company provides home service to their clients.

Junaid Khan looks forward to establishing himself as a pioneer in this industry and if he gets a chance, he would love to have his brand for cars.

He advises people to be sure of what they are purchasing and decide what is good and bad for their cars. Junaid Khan thinks a lot of times people buy cars that are trending and do not get into the details and that can be a drawback for them. He hopes that people think and research well while purchasing a car and get the best out of what they have invested.
