City Manager Conscient Football and his team joined the event. The Vice-Chancellor of ADYPU, Prof Hrridaysh Deshpande did the inauguration by cutting the ribbon and launching the video of how Barca Academy will enhance the sports curriculum for ADYPU students.
Prof. Deshpande shared his thoughts on how ADYPU is working in the holistic development of the students and how owing to the demand of time, focusing on health through sports is very crucial. He emphasised that making sports and involving physical activities in our day to day life is important for us. Mr Shirsat encouraged students and staff to go for football and how the BARCA Academy will help them train. The Barca team exchanged personalized jerseys and gave them to Prof. Deshpande, Mr Pradhyumna Thakare (Head, ADYPU Sports Academy) Thomas V. BARÇA Academy is mainly a football sports academy aimed at children between 6 and 18 years of age and its main objective is to provide a comprehensive training environment for their pupils.
This method of schooling, exported to the rest of the world, attempts to extend the Barça model and promote the Club’s working philosophy internationally.
