There are a few things you expect out of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise - humour, great music and an awesome story involving Thanos.
The Telltale adventure game delivers all of these in spades. In true Telltale fashion the story unfolds with a bunch of twists and turns. Rather than going with the movie look of the characters, the developers have decided to follow the comic book more closely, which is evident especially with Gamoras look. Peter Quill also looks a lot different than the movie series.
The voice acting is good too, though Rocket by far has the best lines and is voiced very well. Though the choices you make do a little difference to the output, it does get you invested in the game as a whole.
For the first chapter, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale series does well to suck you in. The pricing for the game won't burn a hole in your pocket either. For Guardian fans, this is another great way to interact with the franchise before the new movie is out.
