What money can't buy! 5 video games you can play for free on your PC

Mobius Final Fantasy

Mobius is a great game for Final Fantasy enthusiasts. It has all the elements you want from a good FF game — awesome cut scenes, good visuals and a broad story, where you play the lead. If you have already played it on your mobile device, it's time to shift to the PC version.

The graphics are better and you can continue your mobile game from the PC. You play a person with amnesia, who has been teleported to a world called Palamecia. You control the Warrior of Light, who has to fight against the forces of darkness and chaos. You are aided on your quest by Princess Sarah Lotte Cornelia and Mog, who will guide you through your journey.

The game is available on multiple platforms, including iOS and Android, so you can play it at home and on the go.

FreeStyle Football

This is a team-based football game that you can play online with other people. Each person controls one person at a time and just like a real football game, you have to play as a team. This means you have to use real-life strategies and techniques as well as communicate with your teammates to dominate your opponent.

Every player needs to build their character over time — you can choose from a huge variety of skills to make your avatar even more powerful. Post the game, you can even evaluate your performance through the record and evaluation system that is built in the game.

For a game that looks like it belongs in an arcade, FreeStyle Football really pushes the envelope. This is recommended for anyone who loves to play football on or off the field.

Smite

At its core, Smite is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA). It lets you follow your character from the third person view.

Add that to the impressive roster of 85 gods and mythological figures you can play in the game and you have yourself a winner. Every god comes under one of the five available classes, namely assassin, guardian, hunter, mage and warrior. Like any MOBA, Smite is a team game with five players on every team.

Two players on the same team can't choose the same god. There are tonnes of game modes in Smite, which always keep things interesting. If you are looking to explore something beyond Defense of the Ancients (DotA), Smite is a good alternative. Not to mention it is pretty popular in the e-sports scene with huge prize money given out during competitions.

Deus Ex: Breach

Deus Ex: Breach was initially the arcade mode in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, but has since evolved and formed its own standalone game. The enemy here is the AI guarding these servers and you can either be stealthy or just go in guns blazing. Once you manage to steal the data, you can sell that information to upgrade your skills and arsenal. The goodies you earn and the experience you accumulate will allow you to face difficult challenges.

Line of Sight

Line of Sight is somewhere between Counter Strike and Quake III in terms of pace. You choose the kind of game you want to play by customising the battles you take part in. Along with weapons there are Psionic abilities that you can use during battle. The game lets you customise your character and your weapons, to make sure your player is the most unique. If you don't want to play with psionic abilities, choose the classic mode, it makes sure you play the game in a more realistic scenario. In future, the game developers plan to introduce a custom map editor and a professional tourney system that should make this game more popular. If you are looking for something beyond Counter Strike, Line of sight is a good replacement.
