New Delhi: Rio mobiles and an e-commerce portal Snapdeal have joined hands on Thursday to launch three budget range smartphones which come under an extremely affordable price range of Rs 3999 to Rs 4999 in India.

New domestic handset maker Rio mobiles launched Rio London, Rio Paris, and Rio New York which will exclusively be sold through Snapdeal. The Rio London (R201) smartphone is priced at Rs 3,399, the Rio Paris (R301) is priced at Rs 4,399, while the Rio New York R501 is priced at Rs 4,999.
TriStar Products, a beauty accessory company based in India, has taken charge of the promotion of Rio Mobiles. These smartphones run on Android 4.4 KitKat OS to give consumers a worthy experience without taking a toll on their wallet.
The Rio New York R501 features a 5-inch display with 850 x 480 pixels resolution. The device is clocked at 1.3GHz quad core processor complimented by 512MB worth of RAM. It gets a leather-like back panel that holds an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front camera and a 2000mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 4999.
The Rio Paris R301 gets a slim body that features 4.5-inch display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The device is fitted with 1.3GHz dual core processor clubbed with 512MB of RAM. The rear surface of the handset gets a 5-megapixel camera, whereas the front surface gets 2-megapixel camera unit. Fueling its operations is a 1700mAh battery for long lasting usage. One can purchase this device in exchange of Rs 4,399.
The third one in the series is Rio London R201 priced at Rs 3,399. It sports a 4-inch display with 840 x 480 pixels resolution. The smartphone is clocked at 1.3GHz dual core processor that’s coupled with 512MB worth of RAM. It features a 5-megapixel camera on the rear surface and a 2-megapixel camera on the front.
