Photo sharing app Instagram is set to roll out a new feature and turn the platform more vibrant and engaging. Instagram's 'Album' feature will now let users add multiple images and videos in one post and share the same with their followers. Instagram initially tested the feature on Android app within limited user base and has now decided to roll out the same for Android as well as iOS platforms.

Instagram users will be able to select up to 10 images from their smartphone gallery and upload those photos as a single album on their wall. The followers can swipe through the images and click on the like button at the same time.

The new 'Album' feature will ensure that all the 10 images are from the same event and are uploaded on the same album. While the new design will allow Instagram users to share more memories of events like birthdays, weddings and vacations, it will also ensure that users do not over-post their timelines with content.

The design will definitely be interesting and engaging to the sender and the receiver.
