Now, shed kilos and feel full getting fit

Brazilian researchers at the University of Campinas have discovered a workout not only helps you shed kilos by burning calories but also makes you feel full by triggering neurons in the brain.

The study is to be published in the August 24 online edition of the journal PLoS Biology.

Jos ufffd Barreto C. Carvalheira led the study and said in a PLoS August 19 announcement, "In obese animals, exercise increased IL-6 and IL-10 protein levels in the hypothalamus, and these molecules were crucial for increasing the sensitivity of the most important hormones, insulin and leptin, which control appetite."u00a0

These findings underscore the importance of adding exercise to any wellness plan to tackle obesity. In addition to staying healthy by getting fit you can burn calories, create a sense of satiety, make healthier food choices, release stress and increase in energy.u00a0

To get started you might want to check out fitness vlogs (Revit.com, Dailymotion.com, BodyRock.TV) and blogs (SocialWorkout.com, FitBottomedGirls.com) or try an Afro-Latin u00a0Zumba dance party class.u00a0

Full study, "IL-6 and IL-10 Anti-Inflammatory Activity Links Exercise to Hypothalamic Insulin and Leptin Sensitivity through IKKb and ER Stress Inhibition" to be available on August 24:
