If you want to lose a few kilos and find the usual workout routines, boring, you might want to try out this new, fun style called Bell-Bolly-Hop. The routine is an amalgamation of three techniques of dance — belly dancing, Bollywood and Hip-Hop.

"Belly dancing helps tone and firm the whole body while adding grace to body movements. Bollywood dance moves are full of energy and can be good substitute for a cardio workout. Hip-Hop beats add an element of Funk and allow the dancers to explore a new range of dance," says choreographer Kanchi Shah, who has created this concept for her dance class called Two Left Feet.
"The idea behind clubbing together these varied forms of dance is to keep the learners interested while giving them an all-round experience of the three methods, and most importantly, to create an exciting exercise routine as opposed to the usual workout. This form of exercise encourages students to enjoy the spirit of dancing while doing the shimmy with belly dancing, adding spice to a hit Bollywood number and grooving to the beats of Hip-Hop, all at once," she concludes.
