From photo exhibitions by national and international artists to a clicking trip for amateur photographers, there is a lot in store for all those who love their camera. Dr Alka Bhinde is showcasing her photographs of Mount Kailash, British photographer Rachel Cunningham will be displaying her work in town and there is also a photography walk!

Moods of Kailash
Dr Alka Bhinde has made pilgrimages to Mount Kailash six times since 2002. Her fixation with the famous peak can be seen in the photography exhibitions she has held in the past in Ahmedabad and Gondia, Maharashtra with the mount as the main focus. Her latest exhibition, Moods of Mount Kailash (Journey towards eternity), once again captures the beauty and serenity of Mansarovar.

The beauty of the old world survives Matthieu Foss Gallery is hosting the works of UK based artist Rachel Cunningham all through the month of September. The exhibition titled In Situ brings together three projects exploring sites with heritage architecture, that seems to have retained to some extent a kind of original state.

These places are usually subject to changes due to neglect, conflict or development. Cunningham has captured Prag Mahal form the former princely state of Kutch, Gujarat,images of a family home located on the outskirts of Paris an italian hotel in Cairo, Egypt and image from the city of Ramallah.

Click walk down the beach
Trip to Click invites budding photographers to come take a walk at Juhu beach this sunday and shoot photos of the interesting subjects - From the bhutta wallas and the eclectic 'food court' to the tiles of gods along the walls and the funny monkey shaped balloons. Come sunset, life at the beach will look chaotic considering road traffic and people, creating super opportunities to do light trails over-looking an interesting sky.
