Shamianau00a0-- The Short Film Club is organising a special screening of the Anurag Kashyap film, That Girl in Yellow Boots, which has received a great response at international film festivals

With a cast that includes theatrewalas such as Naseeruddin Shah, Kalki Koechlin, Divya Jagdale, Kumud Mishra and Gulshan Devaiya, among others, Anurag Mishra's critically acclaimed thriller, That Girl In Yellow Boots, had us interested right from the word go. Now, while the world will have to wait until September 2 to catch the film, members of Shamianau00a0-- The Short Film Clubu00a0 will watch it on August 29 itself. Kashyap and Koechlin will also attend the special screening.



A discussion with the director and lead actor will follow the screening.u00a0u00a0Cyrus Dastur, founder of the film club, says, "It's great to collaborate with Anurag's film as besides being a very old friend, I've always been a die hard fan of his work. Anurag has made some truly defining cinema and I have no doubt that he will continue to make memorable movies in the future. At Shamiana we've always celebrated good films and this screening is in continuance with that sentiment." The event is strictly an invitees only do so you have to be a card-holding member of Shamiana (or a lucky winner of our contest) to gain entry.
