Taiwan tech firm Asus officially unveiled the AR smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017. The phone has been touted as Asus' first Tango-powered and Daydream-ready smartphone and boasts of a whopping 8GB of RAM.
Tango, a platform authored and developed by Google enables mobile devices like smartphones and tablets by utilising computer vision and detect their position relative to the world around them without the use of GPS. Daydream is Google's take on the high-quality mobile Virtual Reality (VR) experience.
Asus further announced the Zenfone 3 Zoom, which happens to be a dual-camera setup built for camera lovers and enthusiasts. It has also been touted as the slimmest smartphone.

Camera: Rear: 23MP Sony IMX318 rear camera, with usual Tango sensors for motion tracking and depth sensing. The Asus Zenfone AR will be available in the second quarter of 2017, and the Zenfone 3 Zoom will be available starting February 2017, but the company hasn't offered any pricing information yet. It's currently unknown, whether the phones will be brought to the Indian market.
