Panash — The Pan Asian Restaurant at Four Points by Sheraton, are hosting Master Chef Tenzin in their kitchen. The restaurant features a mix of Japanese and Chinese fare with Malay, Thai and Singaporean dishes. Their specialties are live Teppanyaki preparations and cooking on the wok.

“The restaurant will serve a range of cuisines from around Asia but we will not offer ‘fusion’ cuisine. The menu will be predominantly South-East Asian and Japanese preparations,” says Tenzin. His specialty dishes include Beggar’s Chicken, Sushi and Sashimi, Sushi Pizza and Steamed Prawn in Pickle Chili Sauce. The emphasis is on authentic flavours and recipes, simple presentations and healthier methods of preparation.
Guests will be able to sit at the counters for Sushi and Teppanyaki. The pricing may vary subject to what the guest orders, portion sizes and cooking methods. An average meal will cost between Rs 750 to Rs 850 (exclusive of drinks and taxes). The menus change regularly as produce is seasonal, and they have daily specials, too. A private dining room is incorporated into the restaurant for special functions.
The glass eatery is bright and spacious and there is an Asian influence to the decor. Chef Tenzin sums it up, “We will bring an authentic experience to the table, as well as cater to the special needs of our guests.”
