Foodies can head to Katakirr Misal for some delicious Kolhapuri-style Misal with buttermilk
If you are fond of spicy Misal Pav, then Katakirr Misal is the place to be. After catering to patrons for five years at Karve Road, Katakirr Misal was demolished and shifted to their new premises, off Karve Road. The new eatery is spacious and patrons can rejoice as the huge queues are now a thing of the past. They have a branch near Cummins College as well. They serve their Misal with Buttermilk and their preparations are similar to the famed spicy Kolhapuri Misal.

There are three types of Tarri (gravy) that one can opt for — spicy, medium and light. If you are not fond of spicy preparations opt for the light tarri as the medium spicy is also quite spicy. To reduce the spiciness of the preparations you can sip on buttermilk. Their Misal Pavs are priced at Rs 40 and
buttermilk at Rs 10.
While there are huge crowds everyday who drop in to sample their fare, they ensure the quality of the food is maintained and the servings are generous. The service is prompt and the rates are reasonable.
