Sahej Bakshi's solo band, The Dualist Enquiry is all set to rock Pune this Friday, with music Bakshi describes best as rock-influenced electronica

The Dualist Enquiry is the brainchild of Shej Bakshi, a producer, guitarist and a graduate from the Thornton Music School in Los Angeles. His solo project The Dualist Enquiry has earned him many accolades and Pune is soon going to get a glimpse of his musical talent as he performs at High Spirits this Friday.

"I was a rock musician even when I was young," says Bakshi adding that Dualist Enquiry is a result of all that he has done. He describes his genre of music as Electronica / Rock, "Rock influenced Electronic," he explains.
Bakshi's passion for music goes a long way. In 2005, he created a music production software to create his own blend of rock-influenced electronic music. After graduating from the US, he returned to India in 2010 and toured the country extensively.

He has earned many accolades for his music. He was selected to perform at the Berlin Music Week in September 2010. He was ranked first nationally in the Burn Sasha Tour remix competition 2010 and he was featured in Platform Magazine's Music special, in the list of six new acts not to miss. Talking about performing in Pune, he says, "The people here, especially the college population is very tuned in to music. They project an enthusiasm and energy that's very
encouraging."

On: June 10, 9 pm
At: High Spirits, Koregaon Park.
