Dear Diana,
I've been friends with this guy for a while now. Last month, when we were out, he took me by surprise and told me he liked me and was attracted to me. After that there was no stopping him. We make sure we are together whenever possible. We hang out on weekends and even go for holidays together. It has been four months that we have been having the time of our lives. When I ask him where we are heading, he tells me not to think about it too much and just keep it going till it lasts or we get bored of each other. He does not want to be in a relationship, but I do care about him. Can I trust this guy or is he just using me to satisfy his physical urges? Sometimes I think, we are going too fast and too soon. My close pal tells me as he is not serious about me, chances are that he will dump me as soon as he takes a fancy to someone else. What do I do? Should I continue seeing this guy or tell him to back off? I am in a dilemma as I don't want to leave him.

Dear Paromita,
It appears that this guy is only interested in a sexual relationship. Chances are that when he is bored of you, he will dump you for someone else. He is in it only for the fun. For him, it spells excitement. It is clear that he is not keen on a relationship for keeps. He does not want a real relationship with you. Nor does he want to commit. This means a future with him is uncertain. At the same time, do not blame him alone as you are willingly giving in to his demands. You have two options — either you play along with him, as he says, or make him commit. If he does not, then you have to decide whether you want to give into his demands or tell him a firm no. The choice is yours.
